Decided to fire the blog back up, because after about 30 years, I am finally going back to Germany! Mitch and Gloria (Jody’s parents) and Jody and I decided in the late fall to embark on a Viking River Cruise: Rhine Getaway for 8 days, with 2 extra days in Amsterdam. It has been almost 15 years since we all travelled to the Dominican Republic together (the month before we got married).
We are flying from Halifax to Basel, Switzerland, via Montreal and Frankfurt on an overnight flight. Our itinerary includes stops in Switzerland, Germany, France and The Netherlands. We anticipate eating and sleeping on the river boat and exploring our destinations each day.
I am looking forward to lots of laughs, memories and reminiscing my childhood.
